Qualifications
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in subject area
• Certification in the state of Illinois (alternative and initial/transitional certificates accepted)
• Experience and success working with under-served students, in multi-cultural settings, in teaming and in extra-curricular activities
• Willingness to go beyond job description to assist students
• Commitment to teaching
• Good communication skills
• Deep pedagogical knowledge
